Tulum was one of my favourite places amongst those I was lucky enough to visit during my year abroad in Mexico. I never got round to talking about it because towards the end of my stay things got more hectic, I started to worry about my year abroad project and I just got generally behind on keeping this up. However over the past few days, now that all my essays have been handed in and the 'holidays' are starting, I've been thinking a lot about my time in Mexico and cannot believe that it was little under a year ago that I was actually there. I was so happy, soo far from stressed, worried, anxious and all the other feelings that come with doing a degree at Cambridge, and seerriously brown! Now, with finals just around the corner I've been wishing myself away over the Atlantic to this haven - Tulum. Crystal clear sparkling waters, soft sands, ancient ruins and iguanas all over the place! Absolutely incredible.
